The novel is finished! Seeds in the Concrete will soon grace bookshelves all over the country. This masterpiece is a lyric-like tale, covered with beautiful original art to represent its rejuvenating story. This Brooklyn based story has elements of romance, redemption, crime, and most importantly there are ideas that can change one’s life.
The 12 song album Seeds in the Concrete was written by L. Joevon to compliment the novel. It features a ton of various new artists and producers like Inkz da Artist, Yemi Marie, Rick Hertz & Evolution Camp and more. The Seeds in the Concrete ensemble will also have a 12 episode series based on the novel. It will air on the SITC app and website. Not only will there be a series, there will be documentaries, motivational videos, and 12 music videos to support the theme and content of SITC. Most of the visual work will be filmed with 360 degree cameras to give the readers and fans the ultimate virtual reality experience.

Many people over look the prophecy of 400 years of slavery of the African Americans... especially when the cotton field is clothed in your Television sets and entertainment. There is an enemy that attacks us every day and the dangerous part of it all is that we can’t see him because he is invisible. If our subconscious is the foundation of our mindset, beliefs, feeling and battery to our motivation, it’s a head shot with a silencer when it’s attacking us threw entertainment. There shouldn’t be a happy ending, when a white cop successfully kills a young black man, and yet the bad guy is a black man who is selling drugs, and the good white privilege is the savior.
The mind is powerful and it is constantly under attack on a day to day bases. Why is the out come of this movie contridicting to Tupac? Yes it's raw, yes it's intellegent and real. However, she is a fiction writer and she has a choice. There shouldn't be another story that is just a reminder of the harsh reality, but a solution to that reality. That is the power that the writer is held responsible.
Granted, every white man isnt racist, or prejudice towards African American or multicultural communities. But my problem with this is that it goes against what #2pac stood for, and the subliminal message that we are inferior. Angie Thomas I need you to know, that you may have wrote a good book... but not a good message! As the saga continues, my community revolution is STILL in progress.
